Whilst Maksim Chmerkovskiy is staying quiet on the rumours that he's romantically linked with Meryl Davis, his brother has decided to speak out and has revealed that Maks "loves and adores" the Olympic ice-skater.
Speaking to US Weekly after Maks and Meryl were crowned winners of Dancing With The Stars, Val commented:
"She was good for him, but I feel it wouldn't do their love justice. One makeout session in the middle of the dance or to label it that they are a couple - it sounds great, but that's not what it is. He loves her probably more than I've seen him love another woman - he loves and adores her - but it's like a King Kong type of relationship."
The pair are yet to confirm or deny the claims that they're together (WENN)
Claiming that Maks just wants to make Meryl happy, Val continued to comment:
"She's precious, and he's gentle with her because he wants to see her shine and he won't want to hurt her. He's willing to calm down for her because she's the last person he wants to see cry and the last person he wants to hurt."
Whilst Val may have been open about his thoughts, Meryl remained coy, telling US Weekly: "We were just saying that this show, despite the fact that it's a reality show, puts people into really real situations. It's challenging and we're not just coming to the show ready to dance every Monday. You go through the daily grind and it's very challenging.
"You get to know people in really fun moments and in really challenging moments, and I think that's what makes the show so successful."
She went on to add: "And I also think that's why when the cameras stop rolling, I think that's why many of the relationships you form on the show keep going on long after the season's over."
