Emma Stone has called for young women to be kinder to themselves so they can, in turn, be kinder to one-another.
The star, currently promoting The Amazing Spider-Man 2, has spoken out about body shaming in the new issue of Seventeen, saying everyone should just be "supportive" to each-other.
"My great hope for us as young women is to start being kinder to ourselves so that we can be kinder to each other," she said.

"To stop shaming ourselves and other people for things we don't know the full story on — whether someone is too fat, too skinny, too short, too tall, too loud, too quiet, too anything. There's a sense that we're all 'too' something, and we're all not enough."
She added: "I hope we can be supportive of each other and try to really have each other's backs, especially when we don't know the whole story."
As previously reported, the star has also spoken out against those who have slammed her for apparently being "too thin".
"I've seen articles or comments that have addressed my weight, or 'caving to pressure to be thin,'" she explained. "Keeping weight on is a struggle for me — especially when I'm under stress, and especially as I've gotten older. That's the way my genes have decided to go.
"It can be really challenging in today's world for anyone — especially girls and women — to feel good about their bodies," the she said. "No matter how things look from the outside, we can all be super critical of ourselves and of our image in the mirror."
