The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's dog Lupo is to star in his very own set of children's books. Penned by Aby King, The Adventures of a Royal Dog follows the adventures of Kate and Wills' beloved black cocker spaniel and his life at the palace.
King lives near to the couple's London residence of Kensington Palace and reveals she came up with the idea to pen a series about the royal pooch after walking her own dog Lilly in the gardens nearby.
"I'd seen in the papers that Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge now had their very own Lilly and I started to think about what life as a royal puppy, with palaces and parks at your disposal, might be like," she told the Telegraph.

The first adventure Lupo and the Secret of Windsor Castle for 9-11 year-olds will be published this September and while Lupo's the star the Duke, Duchess and little Prince George all make appearances.
Kate and William are devoted to their dog and during the royal tour to Australia the Duchess even confessed she was missing her four legged companion quite a bit.
