They may have once been locked in one of the nastiest rap beefs in history but it's nothing but love between Nas and Jay Z with the 'Holy Grail' star joining his former rival on stage at the Coachella Music Festival last night giving the audience a huge surprise.
Headlining the Outdoor Theatre stage on day two of the music event taking place at Indio, California, Nas reeled out some of his biggest hits from the last 20 years of his career but it was his surprise guest that really sent the crowd wild with none other than Jay Z storming onto the stage.

While it may have been Nas' set, the pair actually teamed up to perform two tracks from Jay Z's back catalogue, 'Dead Presidents II' and 'Where I'm From,' both of which feature on the hip-hop mogul's album 'In My Lifetime. Vol. 1.'
Jay Z wasn't the only treat Nas had in store though as P. Diddy - or Puff Daddy as he's known as once again - graced the stage to perform the anthemic 'Hate Me Now.'
As if all that wasn't epic enough, Nas performed his iconic debut album 'Illmatic' in its entirety to celebrate the record's 20th anniversary, much to the delight of his devoted hip-hop fans who lapped up the show-stopping set.
Jay Z wasn't the only unannounced guest at Coachella though as his wife Beyonce ran on stage to join her younger sister Solange Knowles for a dance routine which they learnt during their childhood.
