Five Things We Learned from Game Of Thrones Season 4 Episode 4 - Oathkeeper

Have we all gotten over the shock of the death of King Joffrey yet? No, neither have the characters on one of our favourite television shows 'Game Of Thrones'. This week's episode was packed once again with interesting stories and it left us wanting even more.

1. Jaimie refuses to believe that Tyrion killed Joffrey

It seems like everyone has labelled Tyrion as the man behind the death of King Joffrey dubbed 'The Purple Wedding'. There are a few (including his own brother Jaimie) who don't believe it for a second but there are more who believe it to be true. During the episode Jaimie and Tyrion have a heart to heart moment after Tyrion is visited by his brother for the first time since he was arrested. However, no matter how much Jaimie protests to Cersei, she just refuses to believe that Tyrion or Sansa weren't involved in the death of her son and demands Sansa be returned to Kings Landing.

2. Daenerys will fight Injustice with Justice

Last week we watched as Daenerys Targaryen swept the board in Meereen after one of her own bet their champion. Tonight we witnessed the slaves in Meereen rise up and defeat their masters who have kept them in chains for too long - and the offer from Daenerys for freedom was obviously too good to refuse. Now she has an army of thousands and thousands she wanted to get justice for all those children who had been nailed to crosses. While one of her own advisors tried to advise her against this move and that it's better to address injustice with mercy she shot him down in flames (not literally) and said that she would deal with injustice with justice. A few minutes later and all the masters were nailed to poles with spikes through their hands and stomachs. Ouch.

3. Littlefinger has made a few friends - could it be the Tyrells?

Back with Littlefinger and Sansa - who was quickly taken from King's Landing for her own protection we hear as Littlefinger wants to marry her Aunt. We already know The Hound and Ayra are headed there so he can be rich. However Littlefinger reveals to Sansa that she indeed was involved in the death of Joffrey - though she didn't know it. She was given a necklace with a piece missing which would be the poison which killed the King. As he explains he's made a friend or two we move to the Tyrells.

4. Did Lady Olenna kill King Joffrey?

It looks that way. It's no secret that King Joffrey wasn't well loved in King's Landing, actually, it was rare to find anyone other than his mother who liked him. As we leave Littlefinger and Sansa we switch to Lady Olenna and Margaery who are discussing their time at King's Landing. The topic of arranged marriage comes up and Lady Olenna gives some advice to Margaery from her own experiences and then, though not directly confesses to being involved with King Joffrey's murder - she didn't want Margaery marrying him, clearly, who would! Will she let Tyrion take the blame?

5. Bran, Hodor and company are kidnapped

Throughout the episode tonight there is a lot of noise from one particular character - a baby. As Bran and co hear the babies cries in the woods he rolls his eyes back in his head and becomes his wolf. Unfortunately though it's a trap and his wolf is tricked into a trap and when he's awoken from his state of mind the group leave to find out where the wolf is. As always though with Game Of Thrones, nothing is ever that simple and the group are kidnapped by Craster's Keep who throughout the episode have been visibly brutal in terms of sexual acts. What do they want with the group though?
