He's a born-and-bred Manchester lad engaged to a great British model - curvy London girl Kelly Brook, 34.
But it seems David McIntosh, 29, isn't interested in his growing profile in the UK, and is tossing offers to join the next series of Celebrity Big Brother to one side, preferring to concentrate on his life in the USA.
A source has revealed the former Gladiator beefcake, who calls himself 'King David', thinks he is 'too famous' for the British TV show, which has starred the likes of Pamela Anderson, Jackie Stallone and both Jermaine and La Toya Jackson.

In The Sun, the source revealed: 'David is on every reality show's wish list right now, but Channel 5 have been most persistent.
'They think he'd be hilarious on the show and a talking point as everyone wants to know what he's really like and how he snared Kelly.'
And they added: 'Basically, David's attitude is that he is too famous for a show like CBB'
But his agent appears to confirm David's plans for world-domination, celebrity style, rather than simply a UK fan base.

She told MailOnline: 'David has a large following in the USA and Australia, for past 2 years he has been building up his notoriety in those markets as fitness model and sexy celebrity personality and we charge handsomely for his personal appearances.
'This weekend [earlier this month] he will be in DC opening a fashion show as the headline model for Magnum Underwear brand and hosting two events along with his Calendar signing before heading to New Zealand & Australia for more bookings.'
David writes a blog, where fans can follow his travels and keep fit with his inspirational speeches.

The former Marine recently wrote: 'America was mad crazy; NYC, Miami ,Washington D.C (twice!!), Boston and LA ! Every place was naughty with a different kind of spice.
'The king will also be going down under to the land of Australia mid-April yesssss!!!! Don't actually even think they're ready for what is about to come. More info on the Oz tour coming soon.' (sic)
But the star does have ties to the UK – namely his family, who still live in Greater Manchester, and his three-year-old son Logan Phoenix McIntosh, with former Miss England Rachel Christie.
It remains to be seen: Whether or nor David will enter the CBB house, it remains to be seen
