Coleen Rooney wears Norwich City colours to watch husband Wayne beat the Canaries with Manchester United

By Nola Ojomu

Coleen Rooney was on hand to support her husband Wayne as his team faced Norwich City on Saturday.

However, Coleen looked more like a Canary than a Red Devil she arrived at Old Trafford football stadium in an eye-catching yellow T-shirt.

Joined by her two sons, Kai, 4, and 11-month-old Klay, the 28-year-old watched Manchester United win 4-0 in their first match without former manager David Moyes.

Coleen was hard to miss as she teamed her vibrant canary top with black jeans that highlighted her deep tan.

And she clearly wanted to keep a yellow theme as she wore grey trainers with neon yellow laces as she pushed Klay along in his pram, while Kai walked by her side.

She completed the outfit with a pair of shades and a few items of jewellery, while her brunette locks were swept up into a ponytail.

Capture fashion's new neon phase with a highlighter tee

No wonder Coleen's having to wear sunglasses - her T-shirt has got us shielding our eyes, too!

The WAG turned designer went for a laid back look of jeans, T-shirt and trainers as she was spotted heading off to the football.

This ain't any old T-shirt found at the bottom of the laundry basket, mind. Coleen's top is by Saint Laurent. Show off.

From colour blocks at Roksanda Ilinic, to sporty stripes at Prada and graphic prints at Alexander McQueen, highlighter hues are officially haute stuff this season.

The key to wearing neon hues (without looking like a candy raver) is to keep the rest of your look simple, so as to let the shade take centre stage.

A neon tee like Coleen's will look great paired with crisp whites for a sporty vibe, teamed with denim to dress it down, or smartened up with chic pencil skirts in neutral shades of nude or tan.

Fellow WAGs Lisa Carrick, Ana Vidic and pregnant Helen Evans were also turned up to support their husbands.

Clearly Coleen's outfit choice didn't affect Wayne as he managed to sink two goals into the back of the Canaries net.

Substitute Juan Mata added a third and headed in from six yards to keep Manchester United in the hunt for a spot in the Europa League next season.

Hard to miss: Coleen teamed her vibrant top with black jeans and kept a yellow theme as she wore grey trainers with equally as vibrany yellow laces

This was all under the eye of interim manager and former player Ryan Gigg, in his first outing as Manchester United coach.

He replaced Moyes after an abysmal season for the Devils, which saw them for the first time out of contention for the four big trophies.

Despite being handpicked to replace Sir Alex Feguson when he retired last year, Moyes failed to make the intended impact as the club's new manager.
