'DWTS': 'Wonder Years' alum Danica McKellar tweets she broke rib

Things are not so wonderful for "The Wonder Years" alum Danica McKellar.
The "Dancing With the Stars" competitor tweeted Friday that she'd broken a rib during a rehearsal for an upcoming episode of ABC's dance competition.
"So ... I broke a rib in yesterday's #DWTS rehearsal. Trying my best to pull thru and could use your prayers!! #wanttokeepdancing," the 39-year-old wrote.
The message garnered an outpouring of fan support and was retweeted by her partner Valentin "Val" Chmerkovskiy just after the dance pro wrote, "Very very tough week #very"
McKellar's progress has been promising and she's earned near-perfect scores in the past two weeks of the competition. On Week 5's Disney night, she and Chmerkovskiy were served up a score of 39 out of 40 for their upbeat "Beauty and the Beast"-themed quickstep to "Be Our Guest."
On Monday, party-anthem night, the pair cha-cha'd their way to a score of 36 with a routine set to Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody." The judges also told McKellar that she had become a real contender in the competition.
The duo's score ranked them in second place just behind Olympic figure skater Meryl Davis and her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Val's older brother, who locked in the evening's lone perfect score.
However, things weren't all that grim early Friday morning. Val Chmerkovskiy posted a photo of them wearing sunglasses on Instagram that he captioned, "Shades on and errthing @danicamckellar #travelinstyle #washingtonDC #dwts"
While injuries have become somewhat commonplace in the dance competition, there's no word yet on how McKellar's will affect Monday's episode.
