Miley Cyrus has re-released her recent statement via Twitter, shooting down any suggestion that her recent health problems have anything to do with increased partying.
The star has been the focus of speculation over the last few days suggesting that her hospitalisation stemmed from exhaustion, which was in turn attributed not only to an allergic reaction to antibiotics but also to a wild lifestyle and the death of her dog Floyd.
However, Cyrus has firmly set the record straight and explained that there's nothing more to it than a bad reaction to medication - telling cynics to "shut the f**k up".
She tweeted: "shut the f**k up & let me heal. stop scaring my family, friends, & fans."

Introducing an "OFFICIAL STATEMENT", she uploaded a screengrab from an iPhone note which reads: "Miley was suffering from a sinus infection during her tour. She was prescribed the antibiotic Cephalexin which shes now suffered an extreme allergic reaction to (sic).
"This type of extreme reaction can last from five to 27 days in these types of cases. She will remain hospitalized and is under a doctor's care until we see some improvement in her condition and is asking for your compassion and privacy at this time."

It ends: "Miley is devastated about missing shows and possibly disappointing her fans."
The star's Bangerz tour, which hits the UK later this year, has been disrupted by the health problems, with Miley telling her Twitter followers that she is anything but happy with the circumstances.
