His love for smoking marijuana is no secret, so it's no surprise April 20th is Snoop Dogg's favourite holiday.
The California native joined millions around the world to celebrate 420 - the day adopted by pot-smokers to share their love for all things green.
Snoop wasn't the only one to mark the occasion, as Miley Cyrus, Seth Rogen and James Franco also spread their own 420 cheer.

Seth and James – who starred in the pot-smoking comedy Pineapple Express – also shared some 420 messages.
Franco posted a photo of his drug-dealing character Saul, from the movie, while Rogen shared a video of how to roll his famous cross joint with the message: 'Happy Easter and 4/20. In honor of both, here's my video of how to roll a cross joint'.

Rihanna also made reference to 420 day on her Instagram, posting a picture of her in a bunny outfit from a fashion shoot, as well as a cartoon of a rabbit enjoying a marijuana cigarette.
Actor Jason Mewes, most famous for playing drug-dealing Jay in Kevin Smith's Clerks, Dogma and Jay And Silent Bob Strikes Back, wrote: 'Happy Easter and that 420 for all youse who 420 and get your Easter on ;) !!!! Summertime Rolls!'
American Horror Story star Gabourey Sidibe also joined in the well-wishing with a religious edge: 'Happy Easter! And Happy 420! I'm not here to judge you, but Jesus is. #dowhatyoudo'.

Patrick Schwarzenegger – son of action movie legend Arnold – also hinted he had been partaking in smoking weed.
He wrote on twitter: 'Blazing and praizing. What a glorious day for Easter. Sooooooo. I don't think I can participate in the egg hunt....'
There are many different ideas of how the counterculture holiday got it's name, but High Times editor Steven Hager was responsible for bringing the true 420 origin story to light.

According to Hager, the term was thought up by weed-loving students, who called themselves the Waldos, at San Rafael High School in 1971.
4.20pm was the time of day they would meet up to get stoned at the campus's statue of Louis Pasteur, which then was shortened to 420.
One member of the group called 'Waldo Steve' said they would greet each other at school by saying '420 Louis!'
'It was just a joke, but it came to mean all kinds of things, like "Do you have any?" or "Do I look stoned?" ' he said. 'Parents and teachers wouldn't know what we were talking about.'

With the help of rock band Grateful Dead and their dedicated base of pot-smoking fans, the term became widespread across North America and adopted by high-profile figures in the music industry like Snoop Dogg.
In 2003, the California Senate Bill 420 - also known as the Medical Marijuana Program Act, was passed which effectively gave millions of people access to marijuana for medical purposes in the state.
This weekend Snoop Dogg headlined the 420 Festival at Denver's Red Rocks ampitheatre – also known as Snoop's Denver Wellness Retreat – with Wiz Khalifa, YG, Smoke DZA, and special guests.
In London, protesters smoked cannabis during a demonstration calling for the drug to be legalized at a 420 Day event in Hyde Park.
