McBusted star Dougie Poynter has confirmed he is dating Ellie Goulding, calling the gorgeous singer "his bird" during a recent interview. How romantic.
Dougie and Ellie have been at the centre of romance rumours for months, with the pair spotted enjoying a basketball game back in January, where a cheeky kiss cam singled them out.
Now the McBusted singer has finally admitted that the two are an item, telling the Mirror this week: "I've got a bird and yeah, it's Ellie." He also confessed to The Sun he was hoping his girl would be able to come along to some gigs on the McBusted tour, which kicked off this week.
"Hopefully [she can come], yeah - she's away at the moment, but yeah. I feel weird talking about it to be honest", he mumbled.

While Dougie is happy (ish) to talk about his new romance, Ellie has been busy denying the rumours she's got a new man. In an interview with Cosmopolian magazine this month she declared: "I [used to] put men on a pedestal. I decided to remedy that, and that's why I'm single now".
The blonde singer added: "They'd be everything [but] I've realised I don't need a guy. I've got amazing, awesome, stupid friends in the best way possible".
Ellie also touched on the lessons she learnt from her break-ups from the likes of Radio 1 DJ Greg James and actor Jeremy Irvine, explaining:
"A lot of despair in breaking up with someone is thinking about how you're going to cope in the future. But not being completely present prevents you from being happy and alive. As soon as you stop relying so heavily on what happened in the past, you end up being able to deal."
