Taylor Swift made one of her biggest fan's dreams come true on Sunday as she turned up as a surprise VIP guest at Gena Gabrielle's bridal shower.
The singer showed up at Gena's celebrations in Columbus, Ohio after meeting the fan at a 2007 meet and greet where Gena promptly asked her to her upcoming wedding.
"I had no idea it was going to happen," Gena told Today. "[Taylor] said she planned it with her management and her mom. She said it was all worth it because my face was priceless."
"I will never forget she did this for me. She is truly an incredible, special person."

— Gena Gabrielle (@GenaGabrielle) April 13, 2014 Gena later explained on Twitter that her idol, who jumped on a plane after her SNL appearance on Saturday night, was determined to make the shower as she can't make it to the wedding: "Apparently they told Taylor she didn't have time and she said no I'm going to ohio I can't make the wedding & I promised her", Gena told her followers.
The ecstatic bride-to-be uploaded images to her Twitter of her and her pals hanging out with the superstar, who looked gorgeous in a mint green dress.
Taylor didn't show up empty handed either as she gave Gena "the cutest" KitchenAid stand mixer, and a hand-written recipe.
Gena has been busy filling in her followers on her amazing day gushing that "I'm really not that special and I'm still in awe she did this for me".
