We're really hoping that Zac Efron isn't a man to back down from a promise as the Hollywood hunk who is nominated for 'Best Shirtless Performance' at this weekend's MTV Movie Awards has made a vow to fans that should he take home the iconic golden popcorn he will accept his award topless.
Yup, the 26-year-old who is nominated alongside some pretty stiff competition, including Chris Hemsworth, Sam Clafin, Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Aniston has made the vow to walk to the podium with his abs out in all their wondrous glory should he walk away with what we can only describe as the best award ever. Thank you MTV!

But while we've got our fingers crossed for the That Awkward Moment megastar, even Zac's betting on the almighty Thor actor to come out on top as he tweeted: If I beat Thor- I'm accepting the award shirtless on stage. #movieawards," and now the heart-throb has sealed his promise to fans explaining to MTV he won't be letting us down.
"So I jokingly tweeted, if I beat him I'll accept it shirtless," he told MTV. "Now I have to. I'm a man of my word. If I win, I'll do it." We're holding you to that Zac!
Zac also dished out his tips to prep for shirtless scenes – just in case any of you were planning on getting your pecks out on film anytime soon, confessing: "It's kind of embarrassing, but you do push-ups before a shirtless scene". Trust us Zac, there is nothing embarrassing about that!
