Ice Cube has slammed the MTV Movie Awards after losing out on an award to the late Paul Walker, claiming he and his Ride Along co-star Kevin Hart were "robbed" and that Walker was given the "sympathy vote."
The 41-year-old actor and Hart were nominated for Best On-Screen Duo for their double act in the cop comedy but the award went to Walker and Vin Diesel for their chemistry in Fast & Furious 6.

While most believe the award was a nice way to mark Walker's death, Ice Cube is furious at his loss and claims it's only because of the actor's untimely death in November 2013.
Speaking to USA Today after the awards ceremony at LA's Nokia Theatre on Sunday, Ice Cube said: "We was robbed. Shame on you, MTV. We had the best chemistry of everybody nominated, for us not to win was crazy. We were the best onscreen duo, period."
The rapper turned actor went on to insist he wasn't implying Walker wasn't talented enough to receive the award, adding: "They should have gave it to him before he passed away."

Shortly before attending the awards ceremony, Ice Cube tweeted: "On my way to the MTV movie awards. If me and Kevin Hart don't win. The fix is in."
During his appearance on USA Today, Ice went on to explain why he chose to leave the awards ceremony early: "I just wasn't into it. I have been going in and out of these things for 25 years. If you ain't into it, why torture yourself? As soon as you get bored, get up and leave."
