Katie Hopkins Still Fangirling Over Kate Middleton & Prince George: 'I Admire Her Courage'

Earlier this week she revealed on Twitter that she was a big fan of Kate Middleton, and now Katie Hopkins has gone and written a whole articile praising the Duchess of Cambridge.

The self-styled social commentator, who is usually more well known for dishing out low-blow insults than any form of compliment, revealed her admiration for K-Middy in a post for Yahoo!.

"I am not known for my compliments and tend to use them sparingly. But Kate has completely nailed her role as Global Ambassador for Britain," she gushed.

"New Zealand can throw what it likes at her; a man's naked bottom – she smiles politely, drizzling rain – she cracks on regardless, shunning an umbrella in favour of talking to the crowd. Give her a flight of stairs in heels carrying a wriggling baby in gale force 10 – no problem.

"And all of this in front of a barrage of cameras and the world's press."

Later in her article, the former Apprentice candidate defends the perceived help the Duchess gets, saying: "How many mums go to work without arranging childcare for their children? How many mums would want to have photos taken without tidying up their hair and makeup? She has help just as all working mums do. But she pulls it off without looking fraught, or in my case – wearing two different shoes instead of a pair.

"Any resentment of Kate's first class travel or the cost of her hotel is bitterness and resentment; bitterness that your life seems so hard and resentment that she makes hers look so easy."

Katie praised Kate for "[giving] up her life" in order to be a Royal, adding: "I admire her courage, I applaud her effortless chic and I challenge anyone not to say that baby George is one of the cutest babies they have ever seen."
