She has played it rather safe on the red carpet while promoting Spider-Man 2 so far.
But on Friday evening Emma Stone decided to well and truly up her game as she attended the film's premiere in Paris alongside the film's lead and her boyfriend Andrew Garfield.
The 25-year-old, who plays Gwen Stacy in the movie, wore a very daring black strapless dress that looked rather like a fashionable version of a sexy superheroes' costume.

Daring: Emma Stone wore a sexy black dress at the Spider-man 2 premiere in Paris on Friday evening
The frock, which was cinched in at the waist and featured a thigh-high split, made her complexion look paler and more stunning than ever before.
Making sure the dress took centre stage, which really wasn't that tricky, she wore her hair off her face in stylish chignon and a sexy dash of bright red lipstick.
Andrew, who she met in 2011 on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man 1 and plays the lead role of Peter Parker and Emma's on-screen love interest, looked rather boring in comparison wearing a straight suit.

Picture perfect: The actress managed to pull of the fashion forward black dress
He was trumped earlier this week when Emma wore a stunning pleated yellow dress by Versace, with beaded shoulders at the UK premiere of the movie.
But British born star Andrew certainly steals the show onscreen with his comstume, which he admitted he has gone incognito as the character in his spare time.
'I have been known to suit up when I'm out and about,' he said on the red carpet in London.
On and off screen: Emma was joined by her real-life boyfriend Andrew Garfield - who plays Spider-Man
Elegant: Not surprisingly her look went down very well with her fans who were desperate to meet her
When asked if he gets recognised, he said: 'Of course not. That's the beauty of the costume. They probably see it as a weird guy in a Spider-Man costume so they keep their distance.'
He revealed slipping back into Spidey's slinky suit for the second time was a joy, saying: 'I loved it. I've wanted to be Spider-Man ever since I was three so any chance I have, I'm in there.'
Jamie Foxx and Dane DeHaan, who portray the film's villains Max Dillon/Electro and Harry Osborn/Green Goblin respectively, were also at the star-studded event along with director Marc Webb and producers Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach.
Work and play: The couple are no doubt enjoying their travels while promoting together
Cheese: The actress was more than happy to pose for a picture or two with fans
Not all about her: Andrew of course was a huge hit on the red carpet

Support: Dane was joined by his wife Anna Wood who wore a black halterneck dress
Foxx, 46, said his children have accompanied him as he promoted the film around the world. 'It is always good to get the family involved and they've been around the world with me,' he said.
And DeHaan - who arrived with wife Anna Wood - got thrills from playing the baddie.
'It's fun to try to kill Spider-Man. That's awesome and it couldn't be better. We get to have more fun. We get to get down and dirty and grit our teeth. You get to do things you can't do in your normal life,' said the 28-year-old actor.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 centres on Peter Parker as he struggles to balance high school with his secret superhero life, with a few new enemies thrown in to keep him on his toes.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 opens in cinemas on April 16.
It's a family affair: Hilary Swank was joined by her children Margaux and Timoty
