It's been a busy weekend for the star, who performed at Coachella Festival in Indio, California, before attending the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles.
But she will have no doubt been thrilled to see the film Divergent enjoy some glory for the evening, with leading lady Shailene Woodley named Favourite Character for her role as Tris.

Ellie also admitted she is hopeful that she will feature on the soundtrack for the next installment of the film franchise.

She told MTV News: 'I've always loved the idea of doing a film soundtrack, so when I'd seen the film and they put some of my songs to it, my face lit up. I felt very excited.
'It's the first thing I've done where my voice is used amongst the soundtrack rather than just songs. Everyone might get a bit annoyed with my voice.
But despite the singer's success, she confesses that she is planning to slow down and is not planning on a new album soon.
She told Billboard last month: 'As much as I love what I do, and music is obviously everything to me, I'm being pulled home, and I've got to do that soon, I think. I need to sort my life out.'
