He's not the best person to live with...
Ed Sheeran may be great at a lot of things, but cleaning is not one of them. Apparently, he is one of the messiest people ever according to his good pal Johnny McDaid.
The Snow Patrol musician admitted that although Ed Sheeran is one of his favorite people, he can't stand his messiness. In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, he opened up about their time living together.
''Ed is one of my favorite human beings in the world, and he is quite certainly a genius, but he's also one of the messiest human beings I've ever met in my life. But I think part of that is because he was working so hard,'' he revealed.

The two lived together in Nashville, and also recently in Los Angeles when Johnny's girlfriend Courteney Cox allowed Ed to stay with them.
Despite Ed's messiness however, he still thinks living with Ed was worth it because they used to have a great time making music together.
''He was on tour with us, and he worked crazy hard and did every single radio station, interview, and promo that he could do," he explained. "He'd come back from a show with Taylor (Swift) at 2am and say 'I've got an idea,' and we would sit at the piano and work for hours. And he's gracious and kind, and knows the energy he gives to people is important. So, as a roommate, messiest guy in the world -- and he needs to take a course in washing dishes -- but worth every single second of it.''
It's no surprise that Ed Sheeran's mess has not gotten in the way of their friendship, as the two have been good friends for years.
